A friendly Hello!
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by members of our Welcome Team. We love making people feel like they’re a part from the very beginning. Once you’re inside, our Welcome Team can help you drop your kids off in a classroom and/or find a seat in the worship center.
Worship is an essential part of our service. Our worship style is a modern blend of current worship songs and hymns all centered on focusing us on the supremacy of God.
Since God’s word is central to everything that we do, one of our pastors will deliver a challenging message from God’s word every week.
We believe that prayer is important, and will have times of prayer in each service. Our prayer team begins each service out of prayer. If you have a specific need, or would like to pray with someone, feel free to come early and connect with our prayer team.
Our services are very relaxed, so dress however it is comfortable for you.
Our Welcome Team brews coffee fresh each week, and we invite you to get a cup from our coffee station in the lobby. Come early and connect with others before worship begins!
After worship, we will hear teaching from one of the many leaders here at Refuge.
Most Sundays, our lead pastor Matt Lawson-Boothby will deliver a teaching inspired by the Bible. At times we seek to draw meaning out of the text based on the context and time it was written. And at others we may focus on a series of topics and see what the Bible has to say about them.
